Christmas time...

Well Christmas is over, it is kind of sad because now I leave and go back to utah. But the good thing about that is Tacy and Sophie are only going to be just four hours away instead of like twenty!! I'm way excited! My Christmas was very good, i will post pictures later. But I got a new digital camera, some cookbooks from my parents, Sophie, and Katy. A smores maker, Tacy made me a ADORABLE blanket. I got a lot of cute cute aprons. An abelskevier  pan, which is like a pancake puff pan. O and Sophie got me and Tacy and James Dean puzzle! Ah he is o so attractive. Lets see.. I got a few gift cards and such, and I also got a Ipod adaptor for my car so I can finally listen to my Ipod in my car. So I had a pretty good Christmas. Well that is all i have for right now. I will post pictures after new years.

Goodness...

I have been home now for two days!!! I'm so happy to be back home! It has been pretty uneventful so far, but Nathan missed me so much that he forced me to go out to eat with him on his lunch break yesterday and that was good. We did have a huge ice storm last night so every last thing is covered in ice.  And now I am starting to decorate my house with my dad. We have put up all the tree branches and lit them yesterday, and today we are putting all the icicles on them. But due to the ice storm last night not all of the fudge factory workers can come into work. So me,being the great daughter i am, offered to go to work today. So I am heading out to work at the good ol fudge factory!

Its time....

Well well well....It has been a while. I apologize once again. I can never think of anything really note worthy but I have a few new happenings and some recipes so I shall share them with you.
A couple of Sundays ago. Well the one before thanksgiving to be exact. I decided i was going to make a little thanksgiving dinner for me and Angelique. So I found a yummy recipe for Cornish game hens. Then i made them, and think they turned out pretty darn good, considering it was my first time making them.
....Cornish Hens with orange honey sauce....
( I halved the recipe)
4 game hens
2 cans chicken broth
2/3 c. orange sections, cut up
1/2 c. orange juice
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. cornstarch
2 tbs. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
2 c. prepared rice (any kind, i made chicken rice to add a little more flavor)
Wash hens inside and out. Drain, salt cavities. Mix rice with orange sections. Stuff hens loosely. Prepare sauce: combine rest of ingredients in saucepan, cook and stir over low heat until thick. Brush hens with sauce.
Fridays at school are usually pretty easy because we have prepared everything the day before and we don't want stuff just sitting over the weekend. Therefor we can pretty much do whatever we want to. So me and another girl found a recipe for BLT dip. Its way way way good. Now i know i do not like tomatoes, but i discovered i just don't like the texture of them in my mouth. We also made up some Orange Julius and added strawberries and bananas to them, they were also good.
....BLT Dip....
1 c. mayo
1 c. sour cream
1 smallish medium tomato
5 strips of bacon, cooled, crisp, and chopped up
about 1 tbs of parsley flakes
Blend all the ingredients in a blender. Then chill in the fridge.
Okay lets see after that, just a few more things happened. I just moved out of my apartment and moved into my aunts house. I got the opportunity to go see the lights at Temple Square last week. And then just this morning me and Launa got up and went to music and the spoken word at the conference center. That was way cool, then we went to a couple of visitor centers and that was cool too.
That is all for now and probably will not hear anything from me until after Christmas.
...AND...
......... I COME HOME IN 10 DAYS!!!!!!!!..........

DUDE! Wheres my car?1?

Well thankfully my car is safe and sound parked in my driveway, on the other hand i can't say that about Angelique's grandmothers car.....

Sunday morning I was sick so i slept in and did not go to church, but Angelique woke me up to ask if I was going to church, I awoke and said no....but being the good friend I am I told her she could take my car to church, but she assured me it was okay that she took her grandmas car. Now her grandma is in the hospital right now with some problems, I'm not sure of the details but anyway..she said she had asked her grandma earlier that week and she said it was fine. And for those of you who do not know, we live in her grandmas basement.

So she went off to church and I went on with my morning and listened to some church music and played tetris. Around noon ish I get all call from Angelique crying and asking me to do her a favor. She wanted me to look up the number for the Salt lake City Police, but i did not have the numbers so i told her what to do. I asked her what happened and she told me her grandmas car was stolen!

Crazy huh!?! So I went to pick her up from church and when she got in the car, I asked if she parked in the parking garage (that's where we usually park, and you have to have a student id to get in and out of the garage) and she said yes, and today was the one day it was open to the public to park in. And not only that but she locked the keys in the car as well.

So whoever decided to steal a car that day had it pretty easy, because the garage was open, the keys here in the car, and it was a really old car so it had manual locks, therefore making it easier to break into.

We pulled up to our apartment and her brother was on the phone with the police figuring it all out. And just then she realized she had left her purse in the car to, and not only did she leave her purse in the car she had just cashed her paycheck for like $300 dollars.

That is the story of the week, I realize it was not my story , but I thought everyone would want to hear it anyway. And we have not heard anything from the police about the car yet.

With just 8 hours and 20 minutes to spare.....

Okay I still have time before the weekend is up.. and I made it. So here is a long blog of updates.
First we have pictures of my car Dean. I gave him this name because first, James Dean is so attractive. Second there is a hott man named Dean in supernatural. Also for some random reason the date is wrong on my camera. I am just to lazy to change it.

Me and Angelique decided we wanted to be festive so we bought ourselves some pumpkins and carved them. I bought some pumpkin pattern books because I have no artistic ability.

In case you all are wondering why the heck there is a pumpkin that says I heart Jaymond, it is becasue he is Angeliques boyfriend.

...This is another one of Angeliques...

I did this one....

And this one...it's kind of my favorite...His name is The Gobbler...

We also got a little hungry while we were carving.....

And last but certainly not least....We got a kitten. Angelique wanted one so we went to pet smart to see how much they were and it was way to expensive. So Angelique decided we should look for a free one. We googled it and found someone right in centerville with kittens for free. Then me and Ang ventured off and got ourselves a cute black kitten. He shall hereby be called after the name of Scofield...if you do not know why we called him that you are seriously deprived....and need to get into television more..

....Sorry about the dirty foot..its Angeliques.....

The black thing at the end of the couch is him in comparison to our couch. He is so little.

Again i apologize for the lack thereof of a blog. I will try to be better i promise..

I apologize......

Okay....I'm sorry for the lack of a blog. But no worries! I shall have one up by this weekend, if not i give all of you permission to kill me...

Woot Woot for new hair color!!

I get bored with my hair quite often and decide it's time for a color change, my mom thinks its my way of rebelling, but guess that is better than getting a tattoo or random piercing of some sort...anyway... I decided it was time so I asked my cousin Stephanie to do it for me because she is a really good hair person. And by hair person i mean cosmetologist. She picked the color and everything and it turned out pretty darn awesome if you as me.
This is what it looks like. Hopefully you can get a general feel for it. It is darker. It is like a browish red, with like blondish red highlights it looks really awesome I love it! She really picked good colors for it.

Out of the bookcase and into the frying pan.....

Jessie has learned a new dish!!!!

Tacy and Sophie will appriciate the title of this blog..

Well I got a call from my grandma last week asking me to come over and cooke them dinner, because she is getting to old to be able to finish the dinner. So poor grandpa has had to eat a few less than perfect meals (out of the mouth of grandma not me). So I drove down to my grandmas house to cooker them dinner on Saturday, and I ended up making spare ribs and peach cobbler. I have never made either of them but the peach cobbler was the only one worth showing so here is the finished product.....

Now i have never made a peach cobbler before but i assumed that this was what it was suppost to look like. So when my grandma came out of her room and was just amazing at the fact that it looked so fancy..lol. Then when grandpa came in from outside he did the same thing. It was quite a funny moment becasue they just loved it.
