Crazy....

I did not intend on writing more than one blog today, but it happens. So I was just in my room at my aunts house and my aunt had a friend over, and she was showing her friend the house and they got to my room and her friend asked me, What is with the Tuna thing? I said well its my nickname, and then she told me about her daughters friend that had the same nickname. My license plate at the the time says tuna 89. So her friend was telling me that her daughter saw my license plate and was like oh my gosh, Nate( her daughters friend) was born in 89 too. So she took a picture of it and sent it to her friend is is currently on his mission in Illinois. So it all fit together perfectly he is in Illinois, his nickname is tuna, and he was born in 89. I also thought it was funny that somebody out there that I don't even know has a picture of my license plate.

Sorry

Sorry the last blog is set up weird. My computer is slow so I do not want to change it.

My trip to the burg.....

x

I went up to Rexburg last weekend for Tacys birthday. I had a lot of fun, we hung out with her roomates, Sophie and Rodney. We went out to eat for an early birthday dinner at Snake Bite witch was AMAZING! Me and Tacy also tried giving me a mowhawk. It turned very interesting.

Recipes!

Okay I have been told that instead of just telling you what I made. I should give you the recipe as well. For the Bosten Cream Pie, all you do is make a round yellow cake, and cut it half. Fill the middle of the layers with vanilla pudding. I filled it will pastry cream. I do not have the recipe for the pastry cream but you can look it up. Then make a chocolate ganache. All it is cream and chocolate. Then when the ganache is cooled a little bit, pour it over the cake and let sit until ganache is hard. (if you want the ganache recipie just ask). Then today we made mini apple pies. Which were AMAZING! What you do for that is, make pie dough. Roll into 2 oz balls, then use a rolling pin to flatten the balls out (not to thick, so it can be a little thin). Put a scoop of pie filling in the middle and fold up the sides around the filling. Brush the edges with cream or milk. Bake at 350, 20 min or until edges are brown.

Quick update!

I figured I should update again before I forget and get yelled at. Today in the kitchen we made bosten cream pie. It is suppost to be made with yellow cake mix. But we had to use white cake mix. And we usually put vanilla pudding in the middle but we made actual pastry cream so it should be very good. It is for tomorrow so i hope it tastes alright. We also had to make flan for a catering party we had to do. We just made a simple baked custered and put caramel at the bottom of the dish. It was really good. That is all for now. I have to get back to prison break.

Back in Utah

Well, after a long 19 hour drive to Utah I made it back safe and sound. Nothing to exciting to report about the trip. We did come along some snow. Believe it or not the whole way from Nauvoo to Rawlins was perfectly fine, now sign of snow anywhere. So we thought PERFECT we can definitely drive straight through the night...but then... half way to Rock Springs and all of a sudden its snowing outside! And were were like what the heck. Which none of us were really surprised because it is Wyoming it has crazy weather. We ended up driving to Rock Springs and stayed the night then drove to Utah on Saturday Morning. That's all I have to say for now....

Here are some pictures from Christmas....

Okay so only the last two are from Christmas.  Me and Tace got a James Dean puzzle from Soph, and Nubbins fell asleep on my blanket Tacy made me. The pictures are out of order because i cant figure out how to move them..Also i got my hair cut yesterday, I hope you can get a general idea of what my hair looks like!
