Christmas time...

Well Christmas is over, it is kind of sad because now I leave and go back to utah. But the good thing about that is Tacy and Sophie are only going to be just four hours away instead of like twenty!! I'm way excited! My Christmas was very good, i will post pictures later. But I got a new digital camera, some cookbooks from my parents, Sophie, and Katy. A smores maker, Tacy made me a ADORABLE blanket. I got a lot of cute cute aprons. An abelskevier  pan, which is like a pancake puff pan. O and Sophie got me and Tacy and James Dean puzzle! Ah he is o so attractive. Lets see.. I got a few gift cards and such, and I also got a Ipod adaptor for my car so I can finally listen to my Ipod in my car. So I had a pretty good Christmas. Well that is all i have for right now. I will post pictures after new years.

Goodness...

I have been home now for two days!!! I'm so happy to be back home! It has been pretty uneventful so far, but Nathan missed me so much that he forced me to go out to eat with him on his lunch break yesterday and that was good. We did have a huge ice storm last night so every last thing is covered in ice.  And now I am starting to decorate my house with my dad. We have put up all the tree branches and lit them yesterday, and today we are putting all the icicles on them. But due to the ice storm last night not all of the fudge factory workers can come into work. So me,being the great daughter i am, offered to go to work today. So I am heading out to work at the good ol fudge factory!

Its time....

Well well well....It has been a while. I apologize once again. I can never think of anything really note worthy but I have a few new happenings and some recipes so I shall share them with you.
A couple of Sundays ago. Well the one before thanksgiving to be exact. I decided i was going to make a little thanksgiving dinner for me and Angelique. So I found a yummy recipe for Cornish game hens. Then i made them, and think they turned out pretty darn good, considering it was my first time making them.
....Cornish Hens with orange honey sauce....
( I halved the recipe)
4 game hens
2 cans chicken broth
2/3 c. orange sections, cut up
1/2 c. orange juice
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. cornstarch
2 tbs. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
2 c. prepared rice (any kind, i made chicken rice to add a little more flavor)
Wash hens inside and out. Drain, salt cavities. Mix rice with orange sections. Stuff hens loosely. Prepare sauce: combine rest of ingredients in saucepan, cook and stir over low heat until thick. Brush hens with sauce.
Fridays at school are usually pretty easy because we have prepared everything the day before and we don't want stuff just sitting over the weekend. Therefor we can pretty much do whatever we want to. So me and another girl found a recipe for BLT dip. Its way way way good. Now i know i do not like tomatoes, but i discovered i just don't like the texture of them in my mouth. We also made up some Orange Julius and added strawberries and bananas to them, they were also good.
....BLT Dip....
1 c. mayo
1 c. sour cream
1 smallish medium tomato
5 strips of bacon, cooled, crisp, and chopped up
about 1 tbs of parsley flakes
Blend all the ingredients in a blender. Then chill in the fridge.
Okay lets see after that, just a few more things happened. I just moved out of my apartment and moved into my aunts house. I got the opportunity to go see the lights at Temple Square last week. And then just this morning me and Launa got up and went to music and the spoken word at the conference center. That was way cool, then we went to a couple of visitor centers and that was cool too.
That is all for now and probably will not hear anything from me until after Christmas.
...AND...
......... I COME HOME IN 10 DAYS!!!!!!!!..........
