Day Fünf!

--Picture of my favorite memory--

It was when I moved to Utah. It was my first "grown up" thing to do probably. But when I moved I was scared, of course, but it turned out to be probably the best thing that has happened to me. I think I grew up a lot when I moved.

Because we live in the mid-west, my siblings have not had a lot of opportunities to get to know our cousins or grandparents. But when I moved I lived within 1 hour of all of my family. I lived with my moms sister most of my time out there which gave me the chance to spend time with my cousins that I didn't know very well. I also cooked for my grandparents twice a week so I got a lot of time to know them. Since it was my first time being away from home for that long of time, I missed Thanksgiving, and Halloween. I was really sad to be missing those holidays but because I lived so close to family I had somewhere to go for any special event that was going on so I never felt alone. It was great!

Day DREI

A picture of the cast of your favorite TV show! This is hard, seeing as how I like almost all the TV shows I watch. But the show that I could watch over and over again and never get sick of is Veronica Mars.

Number Zwei

A picture of you and someone your close to.

SOPHIE SABENIAL SMITH

To start her actual middle name is Caroline, but her mom wanted it to be Sebenial (sp?) so I sometimes call her that. Sophie is a FANTASTIC friend. We first met in sixth grade but we were not friends then. She actually admitted later in our friendship that she thought I was weird when we first met. But alas we have gotten past that and have been good friends ever since probably 7th maybe 8th grade. We have had our friendship up and downs as most people do but nothing has kept us apart. I remember sitting in young women's with Sophaline (one of the many many nicknames she lets me call her) and our leaders were telling the class that the friends we have now will not be our friends once we get into high school and older. When they said that Soph and I told each other that that would never be us. I don't think we will ever not be friends, she is great and I d0n't think I could ever ask for a better friend.

Just a few things

We are FINALLY all settled in our new apartment! It is so nice to not have to unpack anymore and just sit and relax.

We had TWO snow days this week, the first one was because of snow, and the second was because it was like -10 or so outside.

Tacy and I are ADDICTED to this new game I bought called Animal Crossing: City Folk. It is a game where you live in this town and you can fish, grow things, decorate your house, sell your things, and whatnot. You can also visit other peoples towns, so you can trade things and get more fruit from them. It sounds pretty weird, but its kind of a lot of fun. Anyway, we have been playing a lot lately and today we discovered we are not the only 20+ year old on here. We discovered a 35 year old women, and a 29 year old. HAHA! Its so fun, I also talked to a 10 year old, but that is beside the point. The point is we are not the only adults on here.

I just had a huge bowl of ice-cream with M&M and Oreos in it and now I am FREEZING!

That's it for now....

New Year!

Wow 2010 went by so fast! A few highlights of the year were,

Katy getting married!

Me getting a full time job!

Tacy and I getting out of the $600 house!

oh... I guess I thought that there would be more but three is not to bad!

Who knows what could happen this year, anything really.

One thing that has happened is we have packed up our house and are suppose to move into our apartment on Monday. We went to the apartment yesterday because we were told it was pretty much ready for us to move in they just had to clean it. But the lady that was cleaning it discovered that the men working on the house didn't clean up anything they were working on so there was drywall (or something) on the carpet, the sink still dripped and they were suppose to fix it. and there was hunks of wood in our entryway and our backyard, and an air-conditioner on our living room floor lol. Hopefully it is all finished by Monday (crossing our fingers) we are ready to move for sure.

So far the disappointing things about this new apartment is that when we said we wanted the apartment we were told that because we were moving in they would replace the fridge, stove, and put in a washer and dryer. Well they wont replace the fridge and stove until spring( again crossing our fingers) because we looked in the stove and fridge yesterday and GROSS, but hopefully they will.... they better. Also when we went to the apartment yesterday there was not a washer and dryer but there was a place for them. So I hope when we go back on Monday the fridge and stove are clean, there is a washer and dryer, and the sink doesn't drip. UGH! I just ready for all of our stuff to be out of the other house and in this new apartment.
